Last week I attended a photography retreat in Nashville, Tennessee with eight other photographers, and it was absolute dream!

The retreat was hosted by my amazing and talented friends, Brianna Marshall Photography & Cori Wade Photography. We stayed in a beautiful Air BNB just minutes from Broadway Street, where we spent the nights bonding over our love for photography, drinking, giggling, and editing together. It was quite literally my ideal vacation!

There were SO many sessions, I honestly can’t pick a favorite, but the one I was most eager to edit was the 70s themed couples session at The Dive Motel– the vibes were absolutely VIBING and the models, Kins & Ryan brought the whole thing together!

My editing style is pretty dark and moody, but I switched things up a little for this- I really focused on adding grain, blending my shadows in with a soft contrast, and I fucking looooove the way they turned out! Creative sessions like this light my soul on fire, so if you and your boo want photos together that go against the grain (think less fields, more cool locations like a museum or thrift store), PLEEEEASE sign me up!!!
